Michael Cohen swore in court that Donald Trump was negotiating with Russia well into the Presidential campaign to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.
Michael D. Cohen, President Trump’s former lawyer and fixer, admitted in court on Thursday that he had engaged in negotiations to build a tower in Moscow for Mr. Trump well into the 2016 presidential campaign, far later than previously known.
Mr. Cohen said he discussed the status of the project with Mr. Trump on more than three occasions and briefed Mr. Trump’s family members about it. He also admitted he agreed to travel to Russia for meetings on the project.
Of course, the big news regarding this bombshell revelation involves the fact that Donald Trump was secretly negotiating with a foreign adversary at the same time Donald Trump was running for President. However, there is another interesting tidbit in Michael Cohen’s plea deal for lying to congress. Notice the words that were used in the plea deal: “and briefed Mr. Trump’s family members about it”. The words “family members” were specifically part of the plea deal. So, the question becomes: which Trump family members did Michael Cohen brief about his negotiations with Russia for a Trump Tower Moscow late into 2016 during the Presidential campaign? Because, if Donald Trump Jr. is one of those family members, and considering how involved Donald Trump Jr. was with the inner workings of the Trump Organization, it is hard to believe he wasn’t one of the “family members”, then Donald Trump Jr. also lied to Congress:

Donald Trump Jr. told Congress he had no knowledge of the deal Michael Cohen was working on during the campaign in 2016 to negotiate with Russia for a Trump Tower Moscow. If Donald Trump Jr. was one of the Trump family members briefed by Michael Cohen, Donald Trump Jr. will likely need to make a tough choice soon. Does he want to cooperate with Robert Mueller or be indicted for lying to Congress?
